Our Beginning

In 2006, three families started a journey together. The journey began with a dream and it didn't take long for the dream to grow into full blown passion. Two-thousand years ago a movement began that, against all odds, would turn the world on its ear. That movement continues today. And it is the vision for the full beauty and promise of what Christ's church can and should be that not only sparked that movement so long ago but continues to inspire those who dare to dream today. The Gelaude's, Emhoff's, and Manly's are but three families of dreamers who envision a church:

…where all people are welcomed and engaged by God
…where there are no walls, just relational bridges
…where the “good news” is actually good news
…where the message of Christ is real, meaningful and life-changing
…where it's more about going out than coming in
…where the “unlovable” feel loved by God and others
…where the “untouchable” feel touched by grace and peace
…where the lonely can once again feel connected
...where real life-change is celebrated over superficial religious activity

What we celebrate:

So when you boil it all down, what is Connexions Church all about?  What is it that we celebrate above all else?  

It’s pretty simple: life change.  

We celebrate the most when a person enters into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ – a relationship that leads to long-term life change that is centered upon loving God and loving others. 

This is the ultimate objective of all that we do.
